Adults of all ages are invited to join us for "The Language of Loss: Putting Grief into Words," a writing experience designed to help us find a vocabulary for those times when mere words just won't do.
Participants will be invited to share their own experiences of grief while engaging with writing prompts and readings. You need not consider yourself a "real writer." This workshop will foster a safe space for writing and telling our stories. Criticism is not part of the process. This is not a support group, but often when we "give sorrow words," we enhance the healing process.
The workshop is led by Amy Lyles Wilson, a professional writer, teacher and spiritual director.
November 2 | Saturday morning | 9:30 - 11:30 am | Room A291 | Led by Amy Lyles Wilson
